Do you know the difference between Bespoke and Custom Orders?

All pieces you see by Bí Anseo are handmade to order. However you can order in 3 different ways:

  1. Collections of existing designs
  2. Custom Orders - more info below
  3. Bespoke Orders - more info below

Custom Orders

This is when a client sees an existing piece, then requests a slight change to personalise the design. If you would like to make a change to any existing design email hello@bianseo.ie.

The above is an example of a recent custom order, when the client made a request based on the Sonas Solid Silver Hoop Earrings. 

Bespoke Orders

Bespoke jewellery orders are those that are designed together with the client and jeweller. Often these pieces are made using older jewellery the client has had in storage and is ready to remodel. See below an example of a bespoke order which the client and I designed based on the gold, silver and jade gemstone she had available to recycle.

Remodelling jewellery is a beautiful, sustainable way to breathe new life into older pieces, bringing stories of your chapter together into the present day.

Of course it is also possible to order a bespoke piece without reusing any existing jewellery. In this case recycled metals and sustainable gemstones would be used in the design, as is the case with all Bí Anseo pieces.
